About 7 weeks ago I was admitted into St. Vincents Hospital in a Psychotic State. Since then I have been making a teady recovery. I have beeen off work for this entire time.

I have just started to ease back into work and have started back part time for now. I am working alternate days, 3days per week.

I will reflect further on my psychosis in future posts. It happened exactly the same as last time. An immense amount of stress and a drug binge fuelled by stress. The drug binge ocurred after the breaking point to try and deal with my psychotic state.

I was in the psychotic state from thursday night through till early tuesday morning. It was quite a scary place to be. I then checked myself into a psychatric unit designed for methamphetamine users. Even though I was not using methamphetamine I was still classified aas being in a drug induced psychosis. Personally I don not believe that it was drug induced but that the drugs amplified the symptoms that were present.

The psych ward that I was in was quite nice. They had an amazing control over the environment in there. They regulated the air-conditioning to make you hungry or sleepy. The nurses were lovely as they always are.

For the record, they checked me in as Stuart Lachlan McKellar. How amusing.

I will post more about actually being crazy later on.

Acid Adventure -

The weekend after earthcore on Syunday night Troy, Trashy, Kana and I decide to have some acid and see where it took us.

After we were tripping pretty hard we wandered down to rushcutters bay park which is a well known gay-beat. It Has some wicked port jackson figs which we climbed up and found some bats in. They were very cute but got scared when we went too close to them.

Trashy decide that he wanted to go to the city but soon came back with us. We left the park and ventured around the harbour towards watsons bay.

We proceeded along the stonewall until we came to an open jetty. It had a row-boat which we borrowed and paddled around hijacking yachts and the likes. We rowed to Elizabeth Bay and climbed up a wall and found ourselves in the park next to the boomerang.

We walked up the road and ended up in Lizzie bay park and found some people drinking as we watched the sun rise.

There was another group of people toking ice just across from the drinkers.

I ended up chasing a possum and talking to it, but it didn't want to come live with us.

We walked home and watched a movie and I slept two hours and went to work. Fuck I hate work.

Earthcore was absolutely fantastic. We left Sydney with Kieran, Jem, Kana and Myself. We were driving ion a 4wd and had Kieran and I had been awake for two days already(!). After a brief nap on the way down, we stopped in Yass to wait for Ben. We were waiting at McDonalds Yass. Their sign says" M Yass - open 6am daily" Hahahah.

We waited for Ben for an hour and a half and he didn't show up. I found out a week later that his car had broken down and he was unable to call as he had no credit and no reception. Even when we tried to call him we couldn't get through due to the recpeption. Oh well!

We went without issue until we were through Shepparton and into Undera. To my surprise there was a Police Van - Drug testing for the drivers. We were fine though and through without issue. After this, night was falling. Thunder and Lightning lit up the open bush and I bore witness to the most amazing visuals that nature was capable of. As the lightning settled and creeped away, we arrived at the gates.

The line up of cars was massive. I jumped out of the car and quickly set about selling Ben's ticket - as once we got through the gates it was useless (no pass outs!). I sold it for $100 to some people which made them very happy, as tickets were selling at the door for $180.

We drove around looking for somewhere to camp and ended up right near the Psytrance Tent. It was called the Hydra Stage. It looked like a giant demons head and blew smoke as we were able to find out later in the weekend.

The music was cranking and it was about 2 am on the friday night/saturday morning. We hurriedly set up the tent as the rain fell down through the forest canopy and onto our tent. Jem and Kana quickly fell asleep and Kieran and I went and grabbed a coffee and had a couple of bulbs. We stayed awake and set up our hookah and had a smoke of double apple flavoured tobacco. It was sweet and various people stopped to have smoke with us as the sun started to rise.

The music didn't start until midday, allowing us to meet up with various friends and peruse the myriad market stores and activities that were on offer.

When night descended we ate our acid and the whole place evolved into a living, breathing, entity. There were 14,000 people there and the vibe was exhilarating.

We ventured off and saw a few of the smaller acts and we all prepared for regurgitator at midnight. As we were waiting for them we witnessed Perry Pharrel aka DJ PERETZ. He was manipulating his voice in some mind blowing way that made it reminiscent of a whale at some points.

After PERETZ, we saw Regurgitator - and they were AWESOME. They played some of their older stuff which was well received by the crowd. One personal favourite was 'Black Bugs'. They played for a bit over an hour and put on an energetic show. There were people swinging from ropes above us and spinning around while they played which added to the energy of their show.

After that we ran around doing various things seeing the most amazing music you could imagine. There were some people dressed as giant teddy bears walking around on stilts and later some people dressed as aliens wrapped up in Electro Luminescent Wire walking on 4 STILTS!! They were in character and pretending to be animals from another planet and when they walked they took giant strides allowing them to move very quickly.

We kept on until the sunrise and had a nap before departing on the sunday afternoon heading back to sydney.

The drive home was uneventful, thankfully. It was thursday before I was able to worka solid day at work again. I know that I can't live this lifestyle forever, but while it lasts i want to remember it as much as I can.

First post in a while! So much news!

Kana and I are going to EARTHCORE! wooooohooooo! 3 days of partying in the bush! I can't wait! Our tickets arrived today after a bit of hassle. But, they have arrived and the lovely people that sent them sold them to us included some mad sketches. I am sending them some assorted random goodies back - hope they will like them.

Preparations ahead! We have organised a tent, sleeping gear, water (20 litres!) transport and various other things. I don't know if I am really prepared though. Still four days away and I am already getting giddy thinking about it.

We are going to be campig with some friends from my work. We have a ten person tent and Kana and I will be sharing it with Ben and Kieran. We will also be taking our hookah along to smoke which will be lovely in the bush.

In other news, went to the beach for the first time since our holiday in Kiama in July. It was so good to go swimming even though I froze my b@ll$ off! Also, I sucessfully body surfed for the first time - so exhilarating! The waves were small and breaking close to the shore. As they started to break I jumped forward and kicked fast and surfed all the way to shore. It was awesome...

Afterwards Kana and I walked from Bondi to Tamarama/Bronte to see 'Sculptures by the Sea'. It was breath-taking! Standing on the headland overlooking Bondi Beach as a giant skeletal wave made of metal pipes arched over the top of me was an amazing feeling. Some other sculptures that stood out were the hurdles that went down a hill and off into the water, A giant egg seemingly frying on the sand, A skeletal wood toroid half-buried in the sand - but still big enough to stand up inside. Too many to list here - they were all fantastic though.

Ah... Another crazy week. Dad has been staying for a few days which has been cool. He has not found out about the name change. He found out that I had changed it but not what to.

Work has had 4 people quit per week for the past few weeks. The staff is dwindling quite rapidly and it will be interesting to see where the company goes.

I would like a new job, but it is just easier to stay here and do my job than look for a new one. I used to love changing jobs frequently. I am starting to get itchy feet...

Weekend was fucking fantastic. Ended up at the Sheriton Hotel on the rooftop swimming pool and spa and was peaking in the steam room. Too much fun.

Finally! My name has been changed. In five days time I will officially be known as:

Meow-Ludo Disco Gamma Meow-Meow!

Interesting times lie ahead! I can't wait to get my credit card and passport.

When the telemarketers call they must ask for "Mr Meow-Meow".

But in a very strange coincidence... The Justice of the Peace that signed the form that authorised my name change has a husband with the last name "meow-meow". It was actually "miaow-miaow" but close enough for me. Strange...

Why am I always sleeping so much? Maybe it's a glucose imbalance or something. I quit coffee but still I find myself sleeping 12-14 hours a day. That end's up being almost all my free time outside of work. All my arts are suffering as I am not finding the time to work on them. I find myslef missing the daylight and am worried about this as summer is coming up and I would love to be able to get up early and go to the beach.

Had my house inspection today... So much work for such a quick inspection. After seeing the place so clean Kana and I have been collaborating ideas for possible themes. A few so far have been sci-fi, oriental, fairy/mystical and a few others.

Shannon/Sharon (pre-op) is staying over tonight. Should be fun! Starting to be a bit of a regular guest. Always good fun though.

I have been reminding myself constantly of a Zen/Buddhist saying:

"Lucky are those that do what they enjoy, but luckier still are those that enjoy what they do."

I have been trying to apply this not only to my job but my life in general. It can be pretty difficult wih work but I am trying my best.

The name change is all set for friday. I am looking forward to an interesting year...

So many crafts at the moment! I have my HAMA bead lemmings which are begging to put on a wall. I have a few stencils which are in the process of being cut. Can't wait to take out he matt white spraypaint.

There is a new graffiti shop that has opened in Newtown. Can't wait to check it out. Hopefully will get a chance this weekend, as I will already be in newtown visiting Happy High Herbs.

I have been occasionally eating some Psilocybe Mexicana, aka "Philosophers Stone", a hallucinogenic truffle. These are great fun for about 4-6 hours and bring on a euphoric trip similar to a candy flip.

Just at work...

Designing a new stencil at the moment. It will be a Keyhole in black matt with objects to the left. One will be jack Skellington and the other will be his ghost-dog Zero. Zero will be Matt White and Jack will be Matt Black and White. In Zero's mouth I want to put a key.

I would love to start experimenting with colour in my stencils. On the flipside I have been toying with the Idea of creating a black rainbow. It is more tricky than I first thought.

Went to a Psy-Trance party on the weekend and didn't have the greatest time but at least we got out of the house.

Work has finally approved for me to paint the walls. They are putting up butchers paper and I am bringing in some spray-paint. should be lots of fun. Dowlo and I are working on a black and white stencil of Spy Vs Spy - from MAD! Magazine.

Got to go -> It's after midnight -> Home time.

Tomorrow I am changing my name to "Meow-Ludo Disco Gamma Meow-Meow". I am currently filling out the forms. I am pretty excited and can't wait to get some official documents in my new name. It was going to be "King Disco Meow-Meow III" But my girlfriend didn't approve as she thinks Junior and Senior and III are a bit stupid. And really, that name would just be ridiculous...

My Stencil Skull Baby is coming along quite nicely and I should take it out on the streets in the next week or so. I have a fair few stencils now that haven't been used and have heard that there is a new aerosol art shop open in Newtown, Sydney. Am probably going to check it out this weekend.

Still reeling from the tastiest free dance party of my life. It was called earthdance and was held at St Peter's Park (Near Newtown). It was crazy! We took some crazy acid and tripped so hard I that when I looked at my wallet it was crawling. After listening to a few hours of Soothing Psy-trance and some funky electro/disco we caught a train to the city. The Map of the train network was bending and re-shaping and the buying tickets at the ticket machine was a very interesting experience.

After getting off the train at central station we walked up to George street and stopped on the way to buy a crepe. It was difficult to eat but quite tasty. I was unable to count money so I was paying for everything in notes and ended the weekend with a ridiculous amount of shrapnel.

When walking past world square and admiring the beauty of everything I felt like the world was put here just so you can appreciate it on acid.

We ventured off to see Charlie and the Chocolate factory which was very amusing.
